  1. I’ve always thought that AutoCad was kind of like Photoshop on steroids in terms of difficulty. I took a quick look at your tutorial though, and I guess it’s a bit more manageable than I had assumed.

    This is a useful introduction to AutoCAD that provides a nice overview of the basic techniques. It was helpful how you situated it in relation to what we covered in class about SketchUp, and I can definitely appreciate the precision of AutoCAD. Of course, you can draw with similar precision in SketchUp, which is used professionally by many architects, but you are right that SU has many quirks that make it challenging for new users to draw accurately, despite its seeming ease.

    How might you use AutoCAD for a DH project specifically?
